These are plain-vanilla mittens in Cascade Eco Wool. I made it a bit larger than needed because I wanted to felt the fingertips and palm to make it windproof.

This yarn felts easily and beautifully. I just had to soak it for a few minutes in hot water, then rub it by hand for another few minutes. I kept the cuffs intact.
